Breaking the Stress Response: Balanced Health Can Help!

BH Blog Jul 2020

At Balanced Health, we find stress to be a major issue that can affect all body systems, even pre-pandemic!

While we scan your hair, nails, or saliva for energetic stress in your 14 systems, we don’t have a  “Stress” System.

That’s because stress affects every system. Stress affects everything, doesn’t it?

Potential Root Causes of Stress

We think of stress generally as an emotional or physical event. We lose our job, or a partner or pet: stress. Moving, getting married, having babies, even a promotion can trigger stress.

Thought patterns set up the stress response because we anticipate something will happen when we think of an event we do not like. Some of us even think of what can go wrong with events we do like! Changes to your body or the environment also sets up the stress response. Some of the root causes of stress include:

  • Blood sugar imbalance

  • Toxins

  • Lack of sleep (circadian rhythm disruption)

  • Sensitivities (these are some very good clues to what is happening in your body!)

A Full Scan can pick up clues to the systems that govern these issues, and shed light on the reasons of stress to the body.

What is the Stress Response Anyway? stress response

It is the body’s way of keeping itself safe. Just like hunger, stress begins in the brain. Our eyes and ears are constantly relaying information to the amygdala, deep in the brain, where all this information is interpreted.

When a stressful event happens, or what our brain perceives as a stressful event, our hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis releases chemical messengers. These chemical messengers ready the body to fight, flee or even freeze.

That hypothalamus activates our pituitary gland, which in turn activates our adrenal gland, where cortisol, (and other messengers called corticosteroids) are made. Scans like the Balancing Scan or the Full Scan can energetically assess adrenal hormones like cortisol, aldosterone (this has an effect on our sodium and potassium balance) and ACTH or adrenocorticotropic hormone, too!

If the stress response is ongoing, our adrenal glands get tired out. Have you heard the term “adrenal fatigue”? It really is an HPA Axis maladaptation, but the end result can leave many systems unbalanced, including our immune system, nervous system, endocrine system, and our digestive system. When that digestive system is imbalanced, that can throw off every system!

How Balanced Health Can Help!

If our practitioners see adrenal glands come up as one of the most significantly stressed points on your scan, they make sure to review any possible energetic imbalances and how they may be affecting your stress response systems.

The bottom line is this: if your scan shows stress from a system that is connected to your hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenals, or thyroid (yes that gets thrown in the mix too), together we will do our best to uncover the root cause from an energetic stand point.

We have very specifically formulated products that support your body during times of stress. Adrenal Life Force has been created for adrenal and thyroid support, and even for blood sugar imbalances, which can be one cause of physical stress to your 14 systems. Your remedies are tailored just for you, taking into consideration your health questionnaire for any contradictions, and of course to confirm energetic Hz balance with the samples sent in!

This uniqueness in testing your samples and matching up nutritional needs, lifestyle tweak and remedies tailored to you is called bio individuality. You can hear a lot more about others’ experiences with our Full Scans, Remedy Scans, and even scans for pets on our Creating Balanced Health websitePetMedella website, and our social media networks!
